Blood for Freedom tells a story of the Hmong people living in the Kaokor Mountains in Thailand from 1968 to 1982. The story is told through the eyes of Kaeng, a Hmong born, Thai-raised young man, who is caught in the middle of this conflict between the Thai government and the communist-backed Hmong.
