Head of Buddha -Thailand -Ayutthaya Period, 16th century Gilt Bronze 13 inches. Strongly cast with a serene expression, sensitively delineated, meticulously modelled lips and straight nose, the heavy-lidded eyes framed by arched eyebrows, flanked by elongated earlobes, with lacquer gilding.
